Happy 75th Anniversary FARA! |
More than 60 present and former FARA members - including six past presidents, as well as family and several ARRL reps -- turned out earlier this month to fete the Framingham Amateur Radio Association as we celebrated our 75th anniversary at the Marlboro Marriott Courtyard.
Highlights included presentations from three past presidents who came to the event from out of town; reading of congratulations from the Massachusetts Legislature and ARRL; a (silent) movie of original FARA members from 1933, as well as presentation of some more recent Field Days (2004 & 2005); awards of thanks to some FARA members; and of course, food! |
